Who Is Better SEO Companies or SEO CONSULTANT?

This article is written from the point of view of myself who’s an SEO consultant so my opinion is probably skewed but these are the 5 reasons why I think consultants are better than companies.

1. They are personal – Dealing with an individual is better than trying to get through the corporate levels of an SEO company. They will tell you to speak to the SEO guy, or the receptionist or accounts and before you know it, you’re not speaking to anyone who knows what’s going on.

2. They are usually better – Consultants (if they have gone independent) don’t need to make a point of selling their company. If they have taken the jump into self employed-ness they usually know what they are doing a lot more effectively than companies do.

3. They are usually cheaper – They don’t usually have the crazy overheads associated with companies, such as the rent, rates and staff. This is what you are paying for when you go with a company, so if they service is exactly the same, chances are the services you receive with the consultant will be a lot better as less money is going into paying for all these costs.

4. Simplicity – This is another big point, its simple to have 1 point of contact, 1 person performing the service, then if it goes wrong and you need to speak to them then you get on the phone to one person, and then you have got hold of them.

This is only my opinion and lots of people would prefer the “security” that an seo agency might give you, but remember its not difficult to pretend to be an agency and charge twice as much.
